The West Bank: Tour I

Visit the Valley of the Kings. Visit three tombs, Queen Hatshepsut's Temple and the Colossi of Memnon.

On your private tour you will be collected from your hotel or apartment by an air-conditioned mini bus and you have your own professional Egyptologist tourist guide. I can provide guides speaking many languages, just ask. I can also provide female guides if required.

You can take your time with your tour and enjoy the amazing historical sites. It is also possible to visit the tomb of King Tutankhamen on this tour.

Also included in this tour you will be invited to have an open buffet lunch by the side of the Nile.

The West Bank: Tour II

Ramesseum, Medinet Habu, and either Deir el Medina or The Valley of the Queens.
This private tour compliments the West Bank: Tour I and includes a visit to Gurna village where you can see hand made items.
Again you will have your own private air-conditioned mini bus and own professional Egyptologist. I can also provide female guides if required. Take your time and enjoy the delightful tombs.

Also included in this tour is a buffet lunch by the Nile.

So you have booked your cruise on the River Nile but you can still have a private tour with us.

Day Trips from Sharm or Cairo to Luxor

This is a full day trip but does not include the flight ticket.
You will be collected from Luxor airport in your own personal A/C car and with your own Egyptologist you will first visit the West Bank and 3 tombs.
Then you have lunch by the Nile (drinks are your own expense) and the afternoon visit is to Karnak & Luxor Temples.

There is an optional Felucca sunset sail before your flight back to either Sharm or Cairo.

The price for 1-2 people is LE380 without sailing

Karnak & Luxor Temples (1/2 Day)

Karnak Temple is the largest temple complex in the world and has featured in many films & TV adverts.
Luxor Temple is situated in the middle of the town and the ancient causeway linking the 2 temples is currently being reconstructed.
Your private guide will be happy to let you enjoy this tour at your own pace.

It is also possible to visit the Luxor Museum with the same guide.

Karnak Light & Sound

The trip takes place in the evening and you have a choice of travelling to Karnak by taxi or caleche (a horse drawn carriage).
The whole temple and grounds are bathed in colour and light whilst listening to the story of the temple and the Pharos

Horse Riding (3 hours)

Firstly you cross the Nile and then a local car will take you from the boat to the stables.
You can choose to ride in the desert or by the Nile. You will be accompanied by a knowledgeable guide at all times.

Camel Riding (2 Hours)

Firstly you cross the Nile by private boat. Then with your guides you ride by the Nile and through local villages for a sight of local life.

Dendera Temple (1/2 Day)

This temple is about 1 hour north of Luxor and this makes for a quieter visit.
Your Air-conditioned minibus and a guide will collect you from your hotel or apartment. You then join the convoy to Dendera and make the journey north.
This is a special temple surrounded by the desert it also has wonderful ceiling paintings and a hidden crypt

Dendera by River Cruise

Cruising to this temple north of Luxor takes a few hours but this is a much quieter temple surrounded by desert.
Your guide will collect you from the cruise ship and take you to the temple.
Be sure to see the ceiling paintings and the hidden crypt.

Abydos & Dendera

It is possible to combine these 2 temples in one tour.
The sacred city of Abydos was the site of many ancient temples, including a royal necropolis where early pharaohs were entombed.

This is a full day tour.

Balloon Flight at Dawn.

A safety briefing and Nile crossing are first.
Then you watch the sunrise over Luxor bathing the Thebian Hills in light as you drift peacefully over sleepy villages.

Airport Transfer

Tourist transportation - from and to Luxor Airport.

Mr Ali will collect you from Luxor Airport in your own private air-conditioned car and take you to your hotel or destination. He will have a sign for your party and be waiting for you outside the airport arrivals building.

The cost for this is only LE100 Egyptian Pounds total for the car for both journeys. Mr Ali would like to make it easy for you to start your holiday in Luxor without any hassle. All Ali needs is your flight details and your name.

Cairo by Plane

Your guide will pick you up from Cairo airport in an air-conditioned mini-bus.

Visit the Pyramids & the Sphinx, then the Cairo Museum with the treasures of Tutankhamun
A buffet lunch is included in this tour.

Cairo by Train

The overnight train leaves Luxor at 23:15 and you have a premier seat for the journey.

Your guide will collect you from the train in an air-conditioned mini-bus.
Visit the Pyramids & the Sphinx, then the Cairo Museum with the treasures of King Tutankhamun.

Edfu temple, Kom Ombo, Aswan Dam & Philae Temple

For this tour your guide will take you south of Luxor in an air-conditioned mini-bus to the Aswan Dam.
On the way you will visit Edfu, Kom Ombo & Philae temples before arriving in Aswan.

Lunch is included in this full day trip and the return journey is by 1st class train

Felucca Sailing on the Nile

A Felucca is a traditional one masted sailing boat that have been used on the Nile since ancient times.
You sail quietly to Banana Island to explore this green haven beside the river.
Then back to the felucca to visit the sandbank in the middle of the Nile where you will have your picnic.
The local food is freshly prepared by the family for your enjoyment.

Felucca Sunset Sailing

Motorboat sailing

A small private, brightly decorated motorboat will sail slowly along the Nile to the sandbank. You will enjoy a picnic of freshly prepared local food and see the original daily village life by the Nile.

Quad Bike in the Desert

Cross the Nile to the West Bank and your guide will take you into the desert at the foot of the Thebian Hills.
You can choose to do this in the morning or the evening, when it is possible to see the sunset over the desert.
The whole tour takes about 3 hours and includes collection from and to your hotel.

Red Sea Visit

Go snorkeling in the Red Sea. This 1 day visit from Luxor to Safaga is by your own private air conditioned mini-bus.
